Dear Terminate Ingels supporters, we have had so much success with our petition. We wanted to feature some of the petition signers opinions. Louie Medrano, from Austin, Texas, United States signed our petition saying: "As a great admirer of the original design of 2WTC, I'm high disappointed with the new rendering. It does display the level of uniqueness, power or importance of the WTC site. It's a very bland design and likened to many other non-notable towers in the world. A kindergartner could design this! This exudes laziness and an impression that New York has lost its luster. IT HASN'T. Let's change this make this site the promising masterpiece we were originally lead to believe we'd have! On behalf of the people of New York and America, No to this design 1000X!!" Terminate Ingels wants to thank you Medrano, because we totally agree with your comments! The original design of Two World Trade Center by Norman Foster was a beautiful bold design, with much meaning and connection to the new World Trade Center complex. The 4 diamonds atop the building, pointed down to the memorial to show the city where the memorial was located. It also showed the creativity of neomodern architecture, as well as a great design of Norman Foster. The new redesigned tower by Ingels was just slopped together, as well as ugly and reckless design, that has no meaning. To be honest... a kindergartner could have done better. This is the work of an egg head architect... This architect was lazy as well as inexperienced to do such a project. On the behalf of our website-cause, we say thank you Medrano!
